CodeNeuron Studios builds and publishes mobile applications. This Privacy Policy applies to all apps published by CodeNeuron Studios on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Our apps are designed with user privacy as a priority.
Data Collection and Usage
We do not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, or contacts, and our apps do not require account creation or login. Specifically:
- Our apps do not require account creation or login.
- Our apps do not access your photos, camera, location, contacts, or any device information unless explicitly required for core app functionality and with your permission.
- We do not sell your data or use it to build advertising profiles, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
- Some of our apps use third-party analytics and crash-reporting services that collect limited, non-personal diagnostic and usage data, as described in the "Analytics and Crash Reporting" section below.
Photos, Video, and Audio
Some of our apps may require access to your device's photos, videos, camera, or microphone to provide core functionality (such as photo editing, video compression, or audio extraction). In such cases:
- For our media-processing apps — including our photo, video, and audio tools — your files are processed locally on your device and are never uploaded, transmitted, or shared. (A small number of apps may securely send an input, such as a photo, to a third-party AI service solely to generate a result in real time; where this applies, it is stated in the app.)
- We do not store, retain, or share your photos, videos, or audio on our servers.
- You will always be asked for explicit permission before any photo, video, camera, or microphone access.
Fully On-Device Apps
Some of our apps are designed to work entirely on your device and do not use any network, server, or third-party service at all. For these fully offline apps, all processing happens locally on your iPhone or iPad, your files are never uploaded, transmitted, or shared with us or anyone else, and the app functions with no internet connection. Where an app works this way, it is stated in the app itself and in its App Store privacy details.
Analytics and Crash Reporting
Some of our apps use Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics) to collect anonymous usage statistics, performance data, and crash reports. This includes a non-personal device/installation identifier generated by Firebase. This data helps us understand general usage patterns and diagnose crashes so we can improve app stability and features. It is processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy, is not linked to your personal identity, and is not used to track you across other companies' apps or websites. Where an app uses these services, they are reflected in the app's App Store privacy details.
Third-Party Services
Some of our apps may use the following third-party services:
- Google Firebase (Analytics & Crashlytics) — as described in the section above, to collect anonymous usage, performance, and crash data.
- AI Processing Services — some apps send inputs (such as photos) to AI services solely to generate results in real-time. These inputs are processed in real-time and are not stored permanently.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use any third-party service that sells your personal data or uses it for cross-app advertising.
In-App Purchases
Some of our apps may offer in-app purchases. These transactions are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not collect or have access to your payment information.
Children's Privacy
Our apps do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. The limited analytics and crash data described above is anonymous and not linked to any individual's identity.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in our apps or legal requirements. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
